Most donations disappear into a total. Yours becomes a plate inside a real book. Every eight dollars given through the Bookplate Fund places one book onward through the library, and every placed book carries an Ex Libris plate: Placed through the Ferrand Library. Add a dedication in the note at checkout, or reply to your receipt with one, and your line gets typed onto the plate before the book goes out.
